BOOKKEEPING ONBOARDING MANAGER

Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for an Onboarding Manager for our bookkeeping and accounting clients. This can be a full-time or part-time position based in our North Vancouver office. We are growing and require a person preferably with some full cycle accounting and/or bookkeeping experience to lead new client implementations with our team of bookkeepers. Preference will be given to those with a wide variety of experience in leadership positions.

Our staff gets involved in a variety of assignments which provide an opportunity for growth and to obtain invaluable experience. This is an environment that you can learn and grow in.

This is a client facing role which requires excellent communication skills and teamwork. The ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders is a must.

While the position is based out of our office, we can offer a flexible schedule. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Be the go to resource on our team for onboarding new clients
  • Work closely with sales on new client implementations
  • Train and onboard new bookkeepers on client files and identify any efficiencies to be gained
  • Develop and enforce standardized operation procedures
  • Allocate and manage workload for each team member
  • Ensure all clients have correct documentation completed
  • Ability to provide bookkeeping support during busy periods is an asset

Desired Skills

  • Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently while manage clients and a team of professionals
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and/or Xero
  • Experience will full cycle bookkeeping is an asset
  • Strong computer, organizational, time management, and leadership skills
  • Superior communication (written/verbal) and client management skills

PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER

Job Description

Our outsourced accounting business has an opening for an experienced accounting or bookkeeping staff member. We are growing and require persons with full cycle accounting experience. Preference will be given to those with a wide variety of experience and to those with public practice accounting experience as well as extensive experience with Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online.

Role Responsibilities

We have the technical ability to allow staff to work on companies accounting records remotely. As a result, while the position requires working from our office it is coupled with the ability to work remotely, at times away from our office, creating a highly flexible work environment.

JUNIOR BOOKKEEPING ASSOCIATE

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Junior Bookkeeping Associate to join our team of accountants and bookkeepers to work on full-cycle bookkeeping for our business clients. This can be a full time or part time position based out of our North Vancouver office.

Our staff gets involved in a variety of assignments which provide an opportunity for growth and to obtain invaluable experience. This is an environment that you can learn and grow in. We have the technical ability to allow staff to work on companies accounting records remotely. As a result, while the position requires working from our office it can be combined with the ability to work remotely, at times away from our office, creating a highly flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide monthly bookkeeping functions to clients including bank reconciliations, payroll, GST / HST returns, and accounts payable entry
  • Communicate directly with clients about their books and correspond with other individuals involved in the bookkeeping process as required
  • Learning about new technology in the industry and how software apps can help make the bookkeeping process more efficient
  • Proactively suggest ways we can improve our client record keeping
  • Some administrative duties will be required

Desired Skills

  • Some formal education in business, accounting, or finance, along with a desire to pursue a designation (e.g. CPA) to go with some practical work experience
  • Some prior experience with an accounting application (such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) would be an asset
  • You hold yourself to high standards especially when it comes to providing excellent client service
  • You are organized, efficient, and detail oriented
  • You have solid computer skills including Excel and Outlook
  • Typing speed of 50+ WPM
